Time to heal Ampharos

It's already daylight in Olivine, I think the time has come to march to Cianwood, a long journey awaits me at sea.

In the sea I meet several bathers who are looking for Pokémon battles, so it serves as a great training and also, Gastly manages to evolve into Haunter, an even more powerful Pokémon

I finally get to Cianwood, where the pharmacy is located. There I explain the situation to the pharmacist who, without hesitation, delivers the medicine to me.

Before returning to Olivine to deliver the medicine, I decide to take a walk around the island. At the house of a guy who lives here, he tells me that a red-haired guy has stolen all the Pokémon from him. It seems that Silver has done his thing again. The guy offers me to take care of one of his Pokémon, a Shuckle. To the distress of his coach, I decide to take care of him.

To the north of the island, I see in the distance a blue glow. As I'm getting closer, I see Suicine, the legendary Pokémon I saw at the Burned Tower a few days ago. Suddenly, he begins to jog through the sea in a graceful way. I wish I could capture him. Immediately after, Eusine appears, the guy who was chasing Suicune all over Johto. He decides that a good way to earn Suicune's respect is by challenging me to a battle. His Pokemon were really strong but I finally get the victory. After saying goodbye, I continue on my way and take the sea again in the direction of Olivine.

Once in Olivine, I meet Yasmine and Ampharos at the Lighthouse. The medicine seems to be working and Yasmine returns to her gym to take care of the challenges.

After a busy day, I decide to take a break at the restaurant in the city. There, a sailor with whom I had a couple of soft drinks, hands me the HM Strength, with which my Pokémon will be able to move heavy rocks to open the way.

Maybe tonight I'll go to the gym to challenge Yasmine and get the fifth medal, or maybe I'll go back to Cianwood, where there's also a Wrestling-type gym.

Next stop: Olivine

I finally have half of the necessary medals to face the challenge of the Pokémon League. This time I'm heading west, where Olivine City is located, a coastal city with several essential places such as the Lighthouse, the restaurant or the pier, from which the famous SS Aqua cruise departs.

To do this I have to cross a long route on which a Miltank Farm is located.

As soon as I get to the city, I see Silver leave the city gym. He tells me that he was going to challenge the gym leader, but that he was at the Lighthouse taking care of a sick Pokémon, so I decide to go to the Lighthouse to help in any way I can and on the way prepare my Pokémon a little more.

After several battles and climbing enough stairs, Croconaw starts evolving. Now Feraligatr will help us. I reached the top floor where Yasmine is in charge of Ampharos. She kindly orders me to go to the Cianwood City across the sea to get a powerful medicine that is only available at the city pharmacy.

I think I will spend the night here among the sound of the waves, and tomorrow I will leave for the sea.

Tales of Ecruteak

It's still rainy days, also in Ecruteak City. It's a good time to take a look at the Burned Tower. There I meet Eusine, a man who chases the legendary Suicune all over Jotho, who is with Morty, the gym leader, investigating. I decide to take my own path and after advancing through the tower, I run into Silver, who challenges me to a fight. After a hard battle in which I emerge victorious, the ground collapses and I fall into the lower floor of the tower. What is my surprise when I see in front of me three strange and beautiful creatures that I had never seen in my life. One of them, bluish in color, poses for a few seconds in front of me after running out. Eusine then appears and tells me that this Pokémon is the legendary Suicune that she has been chasing all her life.

With the surprise still in my body and after leaving the Burned Tower, I decide to visit the Dance Theater to see the Kimono Girls show. A man who is there proposes me to challenge the Kimono Girls in exchange for a gift. Over the course of the fights, Nidoran evolves into Nidorino! and after defeating them all, the lord gives me the HM Surf, with which I will be able to cross rivers and seas. It will certainly be of great help to me.

The time has come to challenge Morty for my fourth medal. It was a tough long-lasting fight, in which Cleffa with his Sing movement, was of great help to stop the dangerous Gengar of Morty. The fourth medal is mine! It's time to rest and maybe at night, I will go west to continue my adventure.

My first shiny and the "Tree" Pokémon

It's time to move on. Next I'm heading to the Pokémon Daycare, just south of Goldenrod City. There, the old man in charge of the daycare offers me a Pokémon egg that a trainer left behind. I take it delighted, and what is my surprise when a Cleffa hatches from the egg. A Shiny Cleffa! No doubt, this rare Cleffa will be part of my team.

After this great surprise, it's time to keep moving forward. I take the north of Goldenrod, and between fights, I finally arrive at the National Park. I wanted to participate in the bug catching contest, but it's Sunday and it doesn't take place today. Continuing on my way, I find a kind of tree blocking my path. There is the florist's sister, who tells me that she is going to visit her sister to see if she will let the Squirtbottle to water the strange tree. Intrigued, and seeing that I have no other choice, I decide to make a visit to the florist.

As a condition, the florist tells me that I must have the Goldenrod City gym medal, so she hands me the Squirtbottle. It's time to go back to the place where the tree was. Thanks to the bike, I get there in a heartbeat.

After watering the tree, it starts moving strangely. Apparently, it's a tree-shaped rock Pokémon called Sudowoodo. After a hard fight, I managed to capture him. I'm sure he'll be a good companion. It's almost time to get to my next destination. To the north is Ecruteak City. After a couple of fights against trainers, I can finally see in the distance the famous Tower that crowns the north of Johto.

I have finally arrived! It's late, so I'll spend the night at the Pokémon center and tomorrow I'll visit the city and try to achieve my fourth medal. Four already? How quickly time goes by!

Goldenrod City and my third badge

Already in Goldenrod City it's time to enjoy all its possibilities. First of all, I head to the Radio Tower to get a Radio Card and tune in to all the programs. After a five-question quiz, I receive the card for my Pokegear. I will finally be able to enjoy radio anywhere!

I'm on my way to the bike shop now. There I acquire one that will be of great use to me to continue my way at a higher pace.

It's time to have some fun at the Casino. I'm not a lucky guy by the way

It's finally time to challenge Whitney for my third medal. On the way to the gym, I suddenly hear a noise coming from the egg that Professor Elm's assistant gave me. The egg has hatched and a Togepi has been born from it!

With Togepi on the team, we arrived at the gym. That's where my battle against Whitney takes place. A hard battle against his powerful Miltank that after a long time, is decided in favor of Croconaw.

Already with the third medal in my possession, it's time to leave for Iris City, although first I would like to continue through Vara de Oro and its surroundings for a while longer.

Through the Ilex Forest

I wake up in Azalea and I feel the dripping on the windows. It's a rainy day! The time has come to leave for Goldenrod City. Right at the entrance of the Ilex Forest, Silver appears and challenges me to a battle. The victory is mine thanks to a spectacular Gastly, who is in extraordinary shape.

Already in the dark Ilex Forest I find a boy quite worried because he has lost his boss's Farfetch'd. After several laps we managed to catch the unruly Pokémon and the boss gives me the Cut HM that I need to continue my adventure.

Continuing my way I arrived at the Guardian's Shrine, a place of worship in which the guardian of the Ilex Forest is said to rest... Interesting.

After catching a lot of new Pokémon and fighting against Bug Catchers, I manage to get out of the Ilex Forest. It's just a little while to get to Goldenrod City. Several coaches challenge me along the way and we have great battles.

Finally I arrived at the huge Goldenrod City, a city with everything a coach would dream of: Shopping Mall, Casino, hairdresser, florist, bike shop, radio, and much more. I'm spending this rainy night at the Pokemon center and tomorrow I'm going to challenge Whitney, the city gym leader.

Fighting the Team Rocket and defeating Bugsy

It's time to visit Kurt, the Pokeball artisan. When I get to his house, I see him quite upset and he explains to me that the famous Team Rocket is cutting the tails of the Slowpoke of the town at the well and that he is going to give them a lesson.

When I get to the well, I see Kurt dazed on the ground. Apparently, he had fallen into the well and couldn't move, so he left everything in my hands. Surprisingly, in one of the battles, Totodile evolved into Croconaw!

After managing to defeat Team Rocket and free the Slowpoke, I return to Kurt's house, who gives me a special Pokeball.

It's time to get the second medal. There are Bug-type experts at the Azalea Town gym. In the match against Bugsy, Gastly surprisingly finishes off Scyther, a rather tough opponent. And well... I already have two medals! I think I'll take a break around town and tomorrow I'll take the Ilex Forest to get to Goldenrod City, which is apparently the largest city in Johto.

Road to Azalea Town

After a rest and a busy day at work, I resume my adventure. It's time to march south to take the Union Cave.

Right at the entrance of the Union Cave there is a Pokemon center. I think I'll have something to eat and heal my Pokemon before I head into the cave.

Already in the cave, I meet my new travel friend, Wooper, and after several battles against trainers and wild Pokémon, I finally arrive at Azalea Town, a very charming town (and many Slowpokes without a tail). Tomorrow I'm going to visit the famous Pokeball crafter who lives here.

Bellsprout Tower and my first badge

After spending the night at home before marching for the eight gym medals, I set off in the direction of Violet City. After going through a long road and defeating some novice trainers, I finally reach my destination.

Walking around the city, I find the Bellsprout Tower where apparently, trainers meet to improve their Pokémon, so I decide to take a look to train and capture Pokémon. On the highest floor, I meet the elder with Silver, who have just finished a match. After defeating the elder in a combat, he hands me the HM Flash with which I will be able to illuminate dark caves.

Back in the city, I decide to take the challenge of Falkner, the gym leader of Violet City. The training pays off and Totodile with the help of Gastly manages to defeat the gym leader, who hands me the Zephyr Badge. I finally got my first medal!

Just as I'm leaving the gym, Prof. Elm calls me on the phone and tells me that one of his assistants is in the Pokémon Center of the city to deliver something to me, so I'm heading there for the night. There I find the helper who hands me a Pokémon egg. Finally, I'm going to have dinner at the Pokémon Center and rest up to continue the adventure tomorrow.

Meeting Oak and starting my journey

Today a new adventure starts, it's night but I've always been a person who likes the dark, so it's the best time to start my adventure. I check that my room is properly and go to Prof. Elm's Laboratory. He tells me that Mr. Pokemon has something to give him and I gladly accept. In exchange, Prof.Elm offers me one of Johto's three starter Pokémon. The choice took me a while, but in the end I decided on Totodile, the Water Pokemon.

Already with Totodile in the team, I'm heading to Cherrygrove City to spend the night.

I get there without much trouble, making Totodile fight wild Pokémon to make him become stronger.

After having lunch at the Pokémon Center, a very nice man shows me the city in depth and gives me a Map Card for the Pokegear, quite useful for my adventure. After spending some time at his house, I'm finally heading north to visit Mr. Pokemon.

In his house there is also the famous Prof. Oak, who would give me a Pokédex. I pick up the order from Mr. Pokémon that is an egg, and I head back to my village.

On the way, Prof. Elm calls me on the phone and tells me that something terrible has happened in the laboratory, so I quickly head there. In Cherrygrove City a red-haired guy interrupts me and we have a Pokemon match. His Pokémon is a Chikorita, but he was no match for Totodile. Before he left he told me that his name was Silver and that he was going to be the best trainer in the world. He was quite a strange boy. Already in New Bark Town, there is a police officer in the laboratory who tells me that a red-haired boy has stolen the Chikorita from the laboratory. Apparently the thief is the guy I fought with in Cherrygrove City.

Once I give him all the information I have and giving the egg to Elm, I come home to say goodbye to my mother, since I'm going to take the Pokémon gyms challenge.
